Zig Zag rolling papers have been the choice for quality smoking products at a fair price since the 1870s. The company was founded by two French brothers, Maurice and Jacques Braunstein. The brothers decided to use the image of a particular French soldier, the Zouave for their logo. The Zouaves were a class of light infantry regiments (c.1830 – 1962) and were originally recruited from the Zouaoua Berber tribe of Algeria. The Zig Zag Zouave, wearing a tribal style head covering, remains today as an instantly recognizable sign of quality and consistency.
Fortunately, the Zig Zag product line has expanded considerably in the last one hundred and forty-three years. As smoking customs began to change, so did the company. Zig Zag expanded its product line while continuing to provide smokers with rolling papers that guaranteed a smooth, satisfying smoke.
All their rolling papers are made from the finest ingredients and are manufactured with several different raw materials. Boasting a comprehensive product line, Zig Zag’s are available in natural flax plant fibers and organic hemp fibers, as well as bleached and unbleached varieties.
Looking for a particular sized rolling paper? Look no further, American Rolling Club carries king, king slim and regular lengths as well as standard, one and a quarter and one and a half widths. And for those who prefer a tapered roll you’ll find Zig Zag’s “kutcorners” will meet your exacting standards for a smooth, even smoke.
